T18Magazine, organiza un Concurso Internacional
de Arquitectura, abierto a todos los arquitectos,
estudiantes y diseñadores de cualquier país del
mundo, cuyo objeto es el envío, por parte de los
participantes, de propuestas concretas para la
construcción mediante un sistema modular en dos
categorías diferentes.
El concurso está patrocinado por Hewlett Packard y
Saint Gobain. La inscripción se iniciará a finales de
Septiembre. En el momento de la apertura del mismo
se darán a conocer las bases del concurso.
El jurado valorará especialmente:
-La calidad de la propuesta arquitectónica.
-La facilidad de comprensión y simplicidad de la
misma.
-La utilización de materiales reciclables para su
construcción.
-El respeto al medio ambiente de la propuesta.
-La capacidad de control ambiental mediante sistemas
naturales de bajo o nulo coste.
-Coste reducido.
-La viabilidad real de construcción de la propuesta.
-La calidad del diseño grafico de la propuesta.
Se entregará un premio por cada categoría y un
tercer galardón a la presentación con un mejor diseño
gráfico.
Los ganadores serán premiados con la más reciente
impresora HP ePrinter y un premio en metálico de
1,000€ (1,270$). Los ganadores serán publicitados en
la web de HP y T18Magazine y se publicará un
número especial de T18Magazine con la selección de
las mejores propuestas presentadas al concurso.
Calendario:
28 Septiembre 2012:
Inicio del periodo de inscripción.
20 Diciembre 2012:
Fecha límite para resolver las dudas.
28 Febrero 2013:
Fecha límite para entregar las propuestas.
30 Marzo 2013:
Fecha límite deliberación del jurado.
30 Abril 2013:
Publicación de los resultados y entrega de premios.
El jurado estará formado por:
-Michel Rojkind & Gerardo Salinas, arquitectos.
-2 Representantes de HP.
-2 Representantes de Saint Gobain.
-2 Representantes de t18magazine.
-1Arquitecto de reconocido prestigio Internacional.
Todos los inscritos en el concurso pasarán a formar
parte de la lista de suscriptores de t18magazine y de
una base de datos para colaborar con HP y para
entrar en la lista de posibles Betas y RE de productos
de HP.
T18Magazine is organizing an International
Architecture Competition which is open to architects,
designers and students anywhere in the world. The
idea is for participants to submit specific proposals for
a construction using a modular system in two different
categories.
The competition is being sponsored by Hewlett Packard
and Saint Gobain. Registration will begin in late September
and the rules will be issued when the competition is
officially opened.
The judges will make a point of evaluating:
-The quality of the architectural proposal.
-The simplicity of the proposal and easy
understanding.
-The use of recyclable materials for its construction.
-Respect for the environment.
-The capacity of the project to control environmental
factors using natural systems with low or no cost.
-The low cost of the project.
-The true feasibility of building the proposal.
-The quality of the proposal's graphic design.
A prize will be given for each category and a third
prize for the best graphic design presentation.
The winners will be given the latest HP ePrinter and
will receive 1,000€ (1,270$) in prize money. The
winners will be publicized on the website of HP and
T18Magazine and will be published a special issue of
T18Magazine with the selection of the best proposals
submitted to the contest.

Deadline for answering any queries from participants.
February 28, 2013:
Deadline for participants to submit proposals.
March 30, 2013:
Deadline for jury deliberation.
April 30, 2013:
Publication of the results and prize-giving ceremony.
The jury will be made up:

-2 HP's Representatives.
-2 Saint Gobain's Representatives.
-2 t18magazine's Representatives.
-1 Architect of recognized international prestige.
All entrants to the competition will be added to the list
of subscribers to t18magazine and a database for
collaborating with HP and to join the list of potential
Beta & RE HP products.
